Finally, The Big Day...
I am hoping that history will be made today as the Patriots run the table!! We are set and ready to go- cokes, chips, big screen projection, all the Giant fans outside (no just kidding!)
It has been a good day- we worshipped with all our friends in Los Santos, Villa de Yaque, The Hole and visited our folks in Guayacanal. Today starts the Caribe World Series which we are hosting here in Santiago (we won last year!). It is also the first Sunday of Carnaval which means endless parades and traffic snarls. Between that and the political caravans, the roads are quite an obstacle course! But, we had a good day of worshipping and sharing. Wayne and Bryon had great messages to share which I think hit home for people.
And like I said before, now it is all about 19-0, Patriots over the Giants- World Series and Super Bowl for New England in one season... more later....
