I'm back- and I think ready!

Ready or not, the Cool Spring are on their way so by 7pm tonight I will just have to get ready! Actually, the last few days I have been able to catch up on the essentials and as far as I can tell, everything is good to go.  If nothing else, they will eat well! (My kitchen is full of supplies and food!) The Chinese food banquet is ready to be delivered tomorrow afternoon so no one should go hungry!

Remember, the focus of this project is youth. We will be doing a True Love Waits discipleship emphasis in 5 different barrios- 3 new ones! Please continue to keep these areas in your prayers, and for God to draw specific persons to Himself and provide leadership in each of the communities. I met last night with our Dominican translators and am very pleased with our group. Please pray for them as they are so essential to our ministry. Pray that they will have a opportunity to share with Dominican youth and be a model of spiritual integrity in these communities.

Our Richmond team is on the way, pray for traveling mercy and for protection from accident and sickness this coming week. Pray for special grace for all of us to be patient as we work together under extreme heat!

1 - Life is questionable on who really has what is important. Is the country with the most stuff filled with people that cannot look at eachother and smile? OR is the people that have a community so strong that they outlast situations everyday that other countries have yet to experience in there lifetimes?

I think my sister Sarah Elizabeth Booth has figured that out and my prayers, tears and admiration goes out to her this moment. I miss you very much. I challenge you all to take this experience and fellowship to a level never even comprehended. We are all behind you COOL SPRING ! Nothing can stop you guys with the power of God .

I cant run a mile in a minute, but I can walk with you.
I cant benchpress 300lbs but I can lift you up.
I cant slamdunk a basketball but I can jump for joy.

2 - Marsha & Cool Spring Group,
Hi! I've been in serious prayer for you today as the group travels to the DR. I can't wait to see God at work in your lives & in the ministry God ordains for you. Keep strong and be Spirit led in all you do - God will absolutely blow you all away as He leads - no matter how things turn out.

I've celebrated my birthday today, which was great but in no way compares to the usual DR birthday celebrations! Anyway, I pray everyone has arrived safely & look forward to blessings from Him this week.

Marsha - Hi! I wish I could be there, but you know the whole deal so I won't ramble. Have a great week with this amazing group - they are the best! Take care of them, but don't spoil them too much.

Justice League - remember where your super powers come from & glorify God in all you do as you lead. I've certainly been amazed at how much God has used you to take to group this far - keep on!

College People - model Christ's love at all times & be an example to the rest. I am so proud of you & how God has grown you up into the people you've become.

High School - You'll have (another) one of the greatest experiences of your life. Enjoy everything - every struggle & every blessing. Take in everything & follow His Spirit as you go. Love on Jesus & He will take care of the rest.

Rejoice always - pray without ceasing - give thanks in all circumstances - for this is God's will for you in Jesus Christ. You know the verse reference I'm sure!

Tell Ramon & the kitchen ladies & the pastor's and everyone hi for me. They are my family too & I want them to know my love for them & send Christ's love as well!

I'll check back soon - soak in His greatness and depend on Him always!
